Summary

  • XII International forum «World Food Ukraine'2009» was visited by 46 783 people. There were representatives of all Ukrainian regions (37,40%), as well as representatives of other countries (6% of visitors).
  • The products and services represented at «World Food Ukraine'2009» included: tea, coffee, juice, dairy produce, confectionery, strong drinks and soft drinks, food supplements, meat, packing and packing equipment, frozen products, ice-cream, floury products and macaroni, bakery foods, vegetables and fruit, food production equipment, refrigerating equipment, furniture and trade equipment, marking and control equipment, drinks production equipment, etc.
  • The most interesting products for the visitors of «World Food Ukraine'2009» were: tea and coffee - 31.25% of respondents and confectionery - 30.44% of visitors.
  • 46.81 % of trade visitors came to the forum in order to estimate the present day market situation, 42.47% - to get information about new products, 42.13% - to choose suppliers/to conclude contracts, 29.80% - to find business partners, 16.45% - to become distributor, dealer, 14.24% - to buy equipment, materials and 6.8% - to participate in seminar.
  • The forum attracted most of all wholesale trade representatives - 12.49% of trade visitors and foodstuff - 10.13% of visitors.
  • 25.54% of the registered visitors are heads of the organizations and 18.56% of the registered visitors are managers.
  • Share of trade visitors: - 49.18 %.
